I’m miranda gold and I’m running for Eagle City Council
I’m an eighth generation Idahoan, born and raised in Twin Falls. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Anthropology from Texas State University, and have a background working in the private sector in logistics, project management, and administration. In 2016, I ran for the Idaho Senate to represent District 14, and spent the most recent legislative session doing policy research in the Idaho House of Representatives. I currently serve as Commissioner and Treasurer on the Eagle Urban Renewal Agency, and volunteer my time among issue-based advocacy groups throughout the Valley. My husband, Daniel Gold, works at Boise State University, and together we have two young children, ages 3 and 6.
I’m running for Eagle City Council because I am deeply invested in this community and I will bring a unique perspective and strong voice for Eagle’s families. I look forward to the opportunity to help shape our city now and for the next generation.
